He's been a bit of a snowflake mentally already too, so you're probably right.

Will be interesting to see but on the plus side he's coming from so low a starting point in terms of fan opinion of him that even if he's just acceptable in the future then it'll be seen as an improvement.

He's been dreadful since he arrived. Yes I sympathise with him for his injury but it doesn't rewrite history.

He took the wallop on his temple, I’d imagine that’s were the fracture would be. Gueye probably has a massive headache this morning

A month before he starts training again then it will be another while before he gets his confidence back to go in full throttle for headed challenges. Not a good scenario for a central defender to have to face. He may be out for a couple of months at least.

It is funny the way things have worked out as there no doubt now that Mina and Zouma will soon be the first choice CB partnership and Keane may have a job on his hands getting back in. Hopefully he will make a full recovery with no mental scars.

If mina and zouma settle well and holgate looking good he could realistically be looking at being fourth choice by the time he comes back and will have a struggle getting back near the starting line up. Getting the extra defender in on deadline day is looking a good decision now

It's the angle: Gana went in with his forehead or headtip and smashed Keane on the temple, which is softer. It's like how a strong punch can potentially kill a man if it lands right on a certain point on the side of the head.

Looked like the front of Gana’s head vs Keane’s temple. A few inches difference in thickness there I think.

..it’ll be like getting back on a bike. i’m sure that nothing will be taken to chance from a medical perspective, so he’ll be 100% when he gets the green light. I know the brain is a complicated bit of kit, but ultimately it’ll be similar to Coleman having to make his first tackle after his horrendous injury.
