Hopefully he will be just fine.

Time is a great healer and I would doubt he'll suffer any long term issues, he will be given plenty of opportunities to engage full head contact before he plays in the first team again. He will remember it, but it shouldn't affect him with the proper guidance and care.

The incident was not so much the clash with Gana but the way he landed on a bone hard dry pitch- many players yesterday play was held up for falling after a jump in a challenge on that pitch - the modern sprinklers are just a spray the water will not go down to soften it enough... Best Game Keen has had for us too hope he recovers well!

Sky sports panel yesterday we laughing like mad when a ref in the Scottish League Elgin City called the game off late when the referee inspected a corner of the pitch that he seemed far too hard to play on as with no rain gravel had risen to the surface- they were in bulk laughing.... accidents happen, but surely they could have watered that pitch better?......

No, quite certain it was the clash of heads that did it; even though the fall was hard, his (limp) body broke the fall and so it was less fierce to his head than if he had hit directly

Think this injury will finish him at the top level tbh. Lad is already fragile mentally and I can see his confidence being shot when going in for a header.

Players like Coleman come back from traumatic injuries alot easier than those like Keane.

He will come back pretty quickly. The rate he has improved this season makes me think he will be a regular by the end of the season and playing well. Reminds me a little of Martin Keown's dodgy start for us.
