One of the most pleasing things this season is watching this young lad shed himself of whatever demons made him look like an utter donkey last year, He might not be any Baresi but he's becoming a good solid centre back. Played Mr Keane, maybe we haven't wasted £30m afterall.

His passing has been good all season, but he had a couple left footed passes that bypassed the midfield that were really impressive. His reactions are still a step slow at times and good strikes with speed and anticipation will continue to beat him. But the whole backline were solid counteracting the constant hoofball tactics.
