Keane played well. Zouma doesn't convince me. Mina needs time

I think you can alternate all those thoughts between all the centre backs.

Personally I think Zouma is the best of the three, so far in the last page or so on this thread I have seen people saying Zouma, Keane and Mina are the best out of them which kind of shows the problem.

All of them are capable, all of them can and should improve however all of them are flawed.

Mina still has the biggest upside, but Keane's passing has been good and extremely helpful in springing attacks at least once a game.

All three of them could be very good but just refuse to concentrate for 90 minutes. Also Keane’s heading at corners really isn’t funny any more. He’s a professional footballer who does nothing but train all day, he should at least be able to head a ball from a corner on target from a yard out without making his head look like the prize dome from the crystal maze. Once was funny but now it’s just negligent and shows a complete lack of practice and desire to improve.

It can often show an overwhelming desire to improve too? You see it often with strikers, thy are so desperate to score they almost panic when an opportunity arises. I think that may be the case with Keane, his heading from defence is fine, but in the opposition penalty box, he consistently fluffs his lines, possibly owing to the fact that he feels he must weigh in with goals? I reckon if he gets one, he will be fine after that, same with Bernard, I cannot believe a lad with that much talent is incapable of keeping a shot low?
