We are still in pre-season mode and these two Europa League games were all about getting the result and progressing to the next round so sorry if it wasn't exciting enough for you bedwetters but it's a result a game and we got the required result tonight. A win is a win. They didn't really trouble us but then again we look as rusty as hell. Total lack of chemistry and playing like strangers. Keane the stand out for me.
I am sure as the players get to know each other as well as fitness getting better we will see more crisp passes and better understanding.
You can see Rooneys mind at work and it is class but just can't execute what he is thinking.....don't know if he has lost it physically or if he will strike an understanding.
Klaassen get some stick but looks like a player quick in thought and moves the ball quickly (also been criticised) but will help us especially away from home.
