Lets all be shocked and outraged about a police officer who gave 2 sewer rats what they deserved.

But lets forget about the 2 rats who will be let back into society in a few hours with a slap on the wrist.

These little ferrets should be handed a long prison sentence while the police officer should be given the freedom of terminal 2.

With everything that's gone on about it they will get away with it, which is totally unacceptable.

I always find it quite astonishing that people are happy for the Police to batter whoever they please.

I'm not so sure. What I think is more likely to happen, rather than no charge at all, is that the CPS take an option where the severity of the charges are less.

If it gets to the big house, it will then depend on how the defence portray it and the jury. It may also depend on any incidents that occurred beforehand.

Some of us are able to judge each individual case on its own merits.

Some of us use the words pigs and filth no matter what they do.

Personally I think the Police are humans, humans are very flawed and emotional creatures, so errors will occur.

What is the answer? Defund the Police? I do enjoy the Mad Max films, but I suspect it would become tiring after a few weeks.

I had been operating all wrong with my earnest fright and disgust earlier in the thread. For that I apologise. There's some old cases to go over, there's some dead people need blaming for their own deaths at the hands and bullets of others.
