….fascinating stuff @Rita_Poon.

i presume the ‘bribery’ aspect of the investigation refers to the allegation made during the interview that they were approached by a ‘government official’ who asked for money to make the NCA investigation ‘go away’. I’ve wondered why nobody has picked up on this since Sunday but perhaps it’s subjudicy.

I’m amazed Kuensburg didn’t ask if that ‘Government Representative’ was an MP but if Williams-Thomas is running the show, perhaps it was made clear beforehand that line of questioning wasn’t allowed.

Regardless, Labour needs to be like a dog with a bone and keep the heat on after the recess, there’s nothing like Tory v Tory war.

I'm often wrong so let's not expect any different. If I was in a position to take the pressure off I'd do it through their rent-a-cop private-douche. The facilitator in the midst, means deniability thereafter. Bigger picture, who else has pulled a few quid through a ppe company but seen the error of publicity and actually paid the hush money % to keep clear of the scandal. Who has been sacked from medpro and forced to sign non disclosure agreements, if this pig is bouncing around trying to find a 'leak' chances are there's collateral damage also.

They said he had a black coat, I didnt hear any race been spoken about.

I dont defend racists, the belief that all Policemen are racist is a bit silly.

Anyway, im off to drive on roads that are safe due to the Police, to attend a match safely due to the protection offered by the Police.

So forgive me for thinking they provide a service.
The guy they assaulted and arrested was the one who phoned them.
He gave them a description of the perp (white and drunk) who attacked his mate and damaged property.
He gets punched on the head for his trouble by a racist thug who you are determined to defend for unknown reasons

the one where they don't actively recruit the thickest and most violent in society. adhering to basic background checks regards domestic violence and sexual attacks would be a quite fantastic start. but hey, the black persons fault though yeah...

Waiting for the police supporters saying the guy shouldn't have resisted
Whilst I more than more than agree, (that wasn't a stutter!) at the minute it's only arrested and charged. With the possible offender being off duty there is scope for another issue. It isn't the officer trawling the abused kids files sending texts for a quick hook up for instance...
