All those cuts to mental health services probably added to the issue of keeping him under lock and key until he could be treated in full for his very severe illness. Now he ends up costing the tax payer more, under lock and key in a max security hospital, and the lives are lost, the other victims harmed for life, and the familes cut adrift, bereft of trust in systems that lines up to fail them in turn.

Appalling that. That a review into cases headed by such pretend-pig-scum didn't flag these victims is very telling, as is the 40 years it's taken to get to the end of it at least legally on the miscarriages of justice. Anyone that shut-rag happened across that was black or foreign was a target.
