I wonder what convinced the jury to convict him both times... "I wonder"

The law is there on his and other scumbags sides just the same as it is anyone else's. Trial by media? Justice meted out due to skin colour? Don't like the look of you, so time to be taught a lesson.

It took 40 years of fighting against repeated police corruption to reach that point last year. 40 years of corrupt behavior.
Believe it or not I'm very pro-police, but I'm also vehemently anti- corrupt police and as such I applaud those who seek to expose said corrupt behavior. And one must be incredibly naive to think it doesn't exist today, especially in the Met.
How many other industries are specifically set up to investigate, report, give evidence against, and actively operate against such criminality?
