Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Another mega hot one today. Delos wasn't that great tbh. Not as historic ruins go but I'll post a couple of pics for H anyway. Mykonos us great though. Spent an hour in the town having a few beers and people watching. Just about to sleep it off. Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.View attachment 183523View attachment 183524
Thanks Fred, that colour of that sky though.

Went to Mr G’s home village this afternoon, we go over every few months even though he has no relatives living there now. Visited the churchyard as several members of the family are buried there. Two village churches were demolished in the 1800’s and the materials used to build the present church, All Saints’, Sawtry. Here’s a pic. Apologies if I’m becoming a bit repetitive with the church pictures.A12FBEDE-5C29-46A5-A678-723E44F10ABD.webp

Sorry for your loss mate, my family have very recently suffered a bereavement of a much loved family member and I know how difficult and sad a time you must be going through ❤️
Thank you Kurt, very sorry for your loss also, all the very best to you and your family.
I am back home with my mum and have been fielding visitors all day so I am on here for the first time since early this morning.
I am genuinely moved by the kind words and messages myself and my family have received on here and elsewhere.

I lost my own dad, a lifelong blue, two weeks ago. He had a 50% strike rate, losing my brother to the dark side courtesy of his own redshite brother ?.
We argued many, many times over the years, and on one occasion to my eternal regret traded serious blows.
But like your dad, he was a good man, loved by many and I'll miss him terribly. Our numerous squabbles suddenly seem so pointless and unnecessary.
Sorry about your loss and your regret Frank, you can be sure he would have had exactly the same feelings.

Sincere condolences. However old and however great a life they left, and all the love that was given, its a terrible loss. Having experienced similar not long ago I'd advise as much time off as you can manage. I found the loss kept (and keeps) hitting me and random times. All the best.
Thanks Charlie, I'm sorry for your loss also and as with you I am mostly okay but yeah it just hits you now and then.
