Afternoon guys. A bit overcast down here today so no excuse for not getting the ironing board out this afternoon. Definitely not looking forward to that. Especially ironing my 2 dress shirts.
Apart from the ironing, I have a lot to cram into the next 4 days. I have to do the on line check in for the cruise and flights. Since covid everything is done pre cruise now which involves, amongst other things, uploading passport photos, taking lateral flow tests and completing medical questionnaire and declaration, updating my NHS covid travel pass, on line check in and printing off all the travel documentation and luggage labels. It doesn't help that my printer isn't working so will probably spend a couple of hours round at the neighbours tomorrow. Plus I need to pack of course and make a checklist for toiletries etc to make sure I don't forget anything.
I also need to organise my trip up to Merseyside for when I get back from the cruise. I only have a 2 day window so need to arrange everything now, including flights, hotels etc. Also need to contact people to let them know I'll be up so I can sort out my social calendar for the trip.
At some stage I also need to fit in a trip into Falmouth as I need a haircut. I'll probably pick up some euros whilst I'm there and also a couple of new T shirts for the cruise. I'm also desperate to see the second Fisherman's friends movie which is out now, but probably won't be by the end of the month when I'll next get a chance to see it. If you haven't seen the first one, it's based on a true story about a group of fisherman from a Cornish fishing village who sing sea shanties and is basically a feel good movie. In the second film there's a scene set at the Minack, an absolutely stunning open air theatre cut into the Cornish cliffs not far from Lands End. Definitely worth a google if you are not aware of it.
Having a healthy salmon salad for lunch which I now need to prepare. Have a good Sunday all.
