Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good evening everybody. I'm loving all the garden talk - yours looks amazing @jazzy. @roydo I love wildflowers and meadow grasses. I'm going to try a bit harder next year to get some growing. Poppies are my most favourite. I'm also thinking about a wildlife pond as well. A few of the roundabouts around here have been planted with wildflowers. They look stunning when everything is flowering. Good luck to your sons @Armaghtoffee , hope they both play well. Herbie looks a bit fierce @Ducans elbow Good plan leaving Nora at home! Hope you are feeling a bit better @Terrarian .Not sure that I can agree with you @blue1948 I agree that you should respect people's beliefs but those personal beliefs should not be imposed on a whole country. Religion and the state should be completely separate. And where do you draw the line? Look at America, Trump enabled all the racists and misogynists by his own beliefs. Do you just accept hate speech because it is what somebody believes or do you call it out? I read something the other day about an American woman who is challenging a fine she received for driving in a multi-car occupancy lane when she was alone in the car. Her argument? She is pregnant and in light of Roe v Wade being overturned, she said that her unborn baby was the second person in the car. Her argument being that you can't have it both ways - if a foetus is a person then there was a second person in the car with her.

I think McNeill is a decent signing. Really don't want Barkley back. I never rated him. He has the talent but not the brains. He can't see the next pass. Admittedly when he was very young he was way ahead of his peers but as time went on they caught him up. A bit like the tallest kid in primary school who a year into secondary school has been caught up by his mates.

Friday tomorrow folks AND payday! Life is good. Have a lovely evening x

I agree Anj. Religion can be so intolerant and what the world needs now is more tolerance. Much more.

It's the 10th anniversary of the London Olympics and I'm just rewatching the closing ceremony. What struck me most was the Ukranian female athletes, all stunningly beautiful and clearly having a great time dancing to our fantastic British pop music. I couldn't help but wonder what they are doing right now.

I never said anything about religion ,the interview I remember included a question about homosexuality from the president .It was his reply that we don't do what you think "we make love with/ on our legs " I found that disrespectful as it shows the president's unawareness of the truth .I in no way think the president is a good man and may be I should have tried harder to find an example ,sorry . I completely agree that religion and politics should be completely seperate mostly because I am not a fan of either as they cause almost every war or civil dispute .

Well I just re read the pot and I did mention religion and have no idea why it was his banning homosexuality that I was taliking about .

I agree @Barnfred 55 we seems we are used to the war in Ukraine , with the Turkish fans showing terrible judgement last night I feel very sad about it all .

Good morning all on a cool and clear day here in Hyvinkää .
It seems Frank is trying to instill some skill and drive into the midfield for that I am happy .
I hope all slept well and have a great day today . No news about @Methuselah ?
I will try to watch the match tonight and have asked the club if I can pay for a stream but no reply yet ,it seems it is to be shown on espn+ so I might see it .
