Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Just had a call from the neighbours inviting me around for Christmas lunch. Wasn't sure if they would this year as they are going to have a full house. The brother has arrived back from South Africa and is planning to stay until the end of January, and no doubt their 3 daughters will all be visiting over Christmas. So there could be 10 or more for dinner. I was half planning doing my own Christmas lunch. I've always fancied curry on Christmas day for some reason.:)
Really pleased that you have been invited round to your neighbours, you never know they may be planning a curry. Re earlier posts regarding meal times I think you’ll find it’s Christmas dinner.lol

Had that been Everton I would have been a stressed out nervous wreck. As it was I have watched completely dispassionately with only a mild sense of disappointment that England lost. International football never engages me as much as Everton do.

Also England are generally rubbish - we've won one thing once in about 120 years. My expectations are never set very high.

Good morning all on this snowy day here in Finland .I hope all had a super sleep and are ready for a wonderful day today . I have never been a fan of taking two penalties as the advantage seems to go to the goalie nevertheless the best team won and in truth England had one good game and even in that a lot of luck. Yes the ref got a few wrong and for me was an example of the ref planning the game in his head before the start .Not the result but what would be allowed and when .Have a great day all COYB
