Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I wish Lukaku had stayed. Trouble maker? Yes. High maintenance? Also yes. But he was absolute quality.
The player we needed last night was James Rodriguez. In fact, had he still been here his quality would have given us at least another 10 points and we wouldn't have been in this position, even if he were only fit for half the games. Whether it was for money or merely a managers spite, getting rid of him very nearly got us relegated.

Good morning all. I'm not too downhearted about last night. We didn't lose. We've taken 4 points from 6 in our last two away games which given our away form is pretty good. I reckon 5 more points will see us safe without having to rely on anyone else.
I wouldn't be surprised if Leeds don't pick up another point. They were lucky not to lose Philips last night too.

Yes. Totally agree.

Hope your cut looks much more decent now. I would usually say pic or we don’t believe you, but out of respect I am going to defer ?

Those are very unfortunate news, not what one hopes to hear two years down this Covid path. Stay safe my dear!

Looks lovely @Gwladysover I especially like the planter with your granddaughters’ handprints and names :)

Sorry to hear, T. Hopefully you can return the vacuum.

Ange, I’m sorry to read about all the health issues your dad still encountering, hopefully your visit to Liverpool will help improve the NHS situation.

I am aware, but I truly appreciate you thinking of letting me know. I’m very happy to see @Twinkletoes123 posting again. We had missed you!
Sassy, if you go into the other Everton website 'Toffeetalk' and go into 'Off topic' - Longest thread, you will find a photo of me from a couple of years ago together with a Toffeetalk member from the US. I am the good looking one on the left as you look!

But I bet people don't come up to you in the street and ask you to say chicken, or calm down calm down, or dey do dough don't dey. ?
They do look at you a bit funny when you describe someone as “he were only a young old boy” though. For the WW1 commemoration the museum showed a film of local people reading extracts from diaries and letters kept by Peterborough people. On hearing it my daughter exclaimed “My God, we don’t sound like that do we?” lol

Good morning folks. I am sorry to confess that I am already fully immersed and completely hooked on the Rebekah Vardy/ Colleen Rooney legal proceedings. Much better than Johnny and Amber! Can I still be friends with you all ??
We’ll forgive you, that’s what friends do.?. I admit I’ve a sneaking respect for Colleen. Our daughter took the kids to Legoland and Colleen was behind her in the queue for one of the rides with her boys and they waited and took their turn although they could have ‘jumped’ the queue. Also I have to say I don’t think Mrs V would have looked twice at Jamie had he not been a Premiership footballer lol

I also think she could ruin his future career. Who would want to sign him when his wife leaks everything from the dressing room to the papers.

Forgot say my nephew works in JD Sports. Colleen often shops in there. Buys about 40 pairs of trainers at a time for the kids. He said she is lovely always waits her turn, never gets arsey with the staff when they can't find/ haven't got the right sized trainers

Is it the sort of accent you used to get on Creature Comforts? Loved them. especially the pigeons sitting on the clothes line gossiping. lol
