It was a big hit about 5 years ago, I'm sure it was by an American group. You may find you recognise it when you find it. Just google "cake by the ocean" and I'm sure it will be top of the search list. Great song for bopping to when you're on your hols.

For once the weather reporters have it right. Lovely warm and sunny down here now. Got my shorts on (no, definitely no pics Sasslol) and I'm going to get on my sun bed. The only decision to make is whether to listen to the birds or listen to my I pod. Not too shabby this retirement lark.

They are indeed American. I’m terrible with song names but once I played it I totally recognized it and it is a fun summer tune. There is another entertaining summer bopping song and video clip by the same group that I really like. Us is actually an ode to their wives as they also participate in the video. As I mentioned before, and just like you, my music taste is pretty diverse. And I’m a sucker for summer bopping songs lol

Sorry to have to inform you Sass but that is a different group. That's the Jonas Brothers with Sansa Stark from Game of Thrones in the video. In fairness the lead singers do look and sound alike. Good song though. Cal loved the summer sounds. My Ipod is full of them.
