Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Went to the Turkish Barber, had all the works. Wash, Conditioner, blow dry, hair cut, hot towels, the lot. Son-in-law told me that it was expensive and I said it was a one off and if it was £50 that was no problem. At the end, the heavy Turkish accent aske for £50, handed him 3 x £20 and he said 'No, £15!' Gave him a nice tip. In Maidenhead my Barber charged £15 just for a hair cut.

Same down here mate. You could get the full works in said Turkish Barber, including a beard trim if you have one, for about £20. I just had a haircut which took about 5 minutes and it was £15. ?

We have a Kurdish barbers here. They get very annoyed if you call them Turkish! My son goes to them. £6 for a haircut. £15 for the whole experience- including setting your ears on fire...or something like that.
