Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning all, Gwladys is back in da house . Hope you have all been playing nicely whilst I’ve been away. Had lovely break and will post some pics later. The family staying next to us were from Leicester, asked if they could put in a request to go easy on us Sunday, didn’t go too well lol. Have a good day all.
Looking forward to seeing your pics. Glad you and the family had a lovely break ?

Morning folks. It's Wednesday. Non working day. Was going to do some gardening but it's raining. Unfortunately Dad was taken into hospital yesterday. He became very breathless and was struggling to breathe. Apparently it is all to do with his kidneys. He needs to start dialysis asap. He has been very reluctant to take that step but will have to. He can't have visitors yet, as of last night he still hadn't been put on a ward so no point in me going to Liverpool just yet until we get more information. In spite of Mr Rees Moggs thoughts, Thank the Lord for home working. Means I can just decamp to Liverpool and still work if needs be. Couldn’t do that if I was office based!
Sorry to hear about your dad, Ange. I hope the dialysis helps improve his kidney’s issues ??

Turned into quite a busy morning. Went to Sainsburys ( supermarket chain, Sassy) for fuel and discovered that most of their bedding plants are half price. Bought some. Have planted them in some tubs. Also planted some sweetcorn. Just finished it all and the heavens opened. One of those really heavy but short showers. Mr F bought me a windchime type of thing as a little Christmas gift. It is very pretty, has lovely bells on it but is very heavy. He didn't notice that the bells have images of the Hindu God Ganesh on them ( there's a very dippy hippy shop on our High Street full of incense and candles and that kind of stuff. He bought it there) anyway I have had it tucked away since Christmas trying to find a place for him and wondering if he can be outside. (Lord Ganesh, not Mr F!) I didn't want to upset him. Anyway my lovely elderly Indian friend who I used to work with in Birkenhead and was like my work Mum has just messaged me to say Ganesh is quite happy outside, he likes to face north because that is where Lord Shiva lives and is very auspicious. The windchime is now hanging on a north facing hook on the fence. Result!

Can’t believe at 46 this is my first time using a diffuser, but better late than never lol Thanks for sharing those products too.

I sure hope Leicester have their eyes on a different prize and our Blues are determined to add points.
Top tip: touch your hair as little as possible while you are using the diffuser.

Took the day off and have been working on my garden beds, hoping to begin planting my veggies this weekend. The weather is gorgeous but the pollen is super high and my allergies are driving me crazy today. I never had allergies to pollen until I moved to the US, I think it is the oak trees that bother me but whatever it is I hate it and it is my least favorite part about this spring time, but everything else I love. Especially flowers, here some that I got for my birthday.
