Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this cloudy one here . I hope all are well and had a good restful night . Not much happening here just off to the shops . Have a great day all COYB
Heavy rain here this morning but I have happily forgone my walk to instead sip some tea and ease into the morning. No point taking a soaking before the day even really begins.

Hello all. I am absolutely fuming about the 'compensation' we have to pay Burnley. What a ridiculous judgement- it opens a huge can of worms and completely ignores that a) we have already been sanctioned b) the original decision stated there was no sporting advantage gained by our breach and c) it isn't in our control when the PL applied the sanction. They really do hate us. Hopefully the appeal will see sense and realise what a dangerously precedent it is.

It is the same panel that dished out the 10 points deduction !
Fuming is the only word I can post on here the rest would be banned .

A minor point but I think the initial decision against us said we had a sporting advantage although they were unable to quantify it.

I can’t believe the outcome of this either myself. Sickening how the PL itself chose when to audit us yet we get sued on that basis. And sued by a team who still couldn’t even stay up despite having an advantage against points deducted Everton.

Yes that's exactly what they said, the amount of advantage can not be quantified.
Now, the exact same panel have had an about turn and have calculated that it was enough of an advantage for us to retain our Premier League status at the expense of Burnley.
You couldn't make it up . . . . except of course that they have. 😠

Herein lies the jeopardy when you forever seem to be the test case.

Well at least it’s decent times here in Canada to watch the WC

Few of my mates going the England Croatia game, $1200 they paid for a ticket, no chance I’d fork out the sort on $$$ to watch them, lots of hotels half full and loads of tickets left for the games here in Vancouver and Toronto, it’s a 10 hour drive to Vancouver from here, so happy watching the games in the pub

New hip doing well and walking about and the big thing is I’m pain free which is a massive plus

Glad the hip doing well. Because I got no sick pay I returned to work way too early and ended up pulling all the muscles around the new hip which set me back a few weeks so take it easy xx
