Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I am enjoying the beans / peas part but they do need spicing up ,I have lost almost two kilos since I started -which wasn't the aim - I think it is because you feel full but not bloated ,we have actually missed a lunch or evening meal sometimes as we were not hungry.
Some lovely reactions to the candle AT .Well done that man .
I have been introducing different beans and chickpeas into homemade curries and chilli’s and it’s true that they do fill you up more. It’s the evening time though that I am most vulnerable to snacking once I get sat down for a bit of TV, likely just habit rather than hunger.

The candle was just a little gesture. If I could somehow share the peaceful atmosphere of the chapel it would be wonderful. Even the smell of the place as I swing open the heavy wooden door is immediately calming for me. It was truly lovely to share even a little of that with someone else.

Good morning all on this fine day ,still waiting on rain . I hope all are well after a restful night ,I must stop reading the Everton news it goes around in circles and latest count is around fifty players we are going to sign !
Have a great day all COYB
I don’t want to read anymore about Illy potentially leaving. He is the best (on field) thing about us.

I'm torn with this one, he seemed to switch off that last two thirds of the season, we should be doing what we can to keep our best players but if he wants away I'd sooner let him go and cash in on him.
Players are just a commodity to a club these days, there's sadly no loyalty either way.

Yeah, can only agree that if someone doesn’t want to be here then we have to move them on. If he does go then I hope it’s out of the league.

That's what I do too - add beans etc to curries, stews, salads and eat lots of oats. I also add pumpkin seeds and chia seeds to my porridge in the morning. I was amazed when I read up how important fibre is to your diet.
Slimming World have a mushy pea curry recipe which is actually very nice. Don't knock it until you've tried it is all I can say. It's vegetarian but I used to add chicken to it. Google it - it's out there on t'internet without having to subscribe to Slimming World.

I fear for people who grimace at the word vegetarian ,I love eating them and if you think other than the lumps of meat in a curry the rest is veggie . It is just that I love the taste of meat .

I discovered I was lactose intolerant about 2 years ago. Since then I've bought and eaten loads more vegan stuff - especially if I'm out because I can be sure that it doesn't contain any dairy. I lost a stone in about 3 weeks once I stopped eating dairy. The vegan food is tasty and very nice- apart from vegan cheese which is utterly disgusting. So I veer from full on carnivore to vegan!
