Morning all, a better day here, yesterday couldn’t see more than 200 yds out of the back for the mist and rain . It’s time for me to get back into the garden today. I’m vaguely trying to avoid any football at the moment , a rest before gearing up for the World Cup and then it’ll be pre season … and away we go again!
Reading that made me realise I have no idea of when the World Cup even starts. I think it being in Trump Land has put me off.

It’s turned into April here, brief sunshine, torrential showers, misty hills and to add to it the French display team, The Patrouille de France ,who are due to arrive at RAF Lossiemouth 3rd June, and presumably their UK mates, have been thundering around the skies for the past few hours. They’re on their way to the states apparently

I have to share the news ,I had an appointment at the doctor's to start medicating me for Myeloma . When I went in she asked how I am and how I feel ,to which I replied that if I didn't know I had it I would be the same ,she said that my blood test results had been getting gradually worse and that despite me feeling good she wanted to start me on a course of four drugs ,a calcium drip once per month and an injection into my stomach that if remember correctly could be to stop me having shingles as a reaction to one of the drugs .She also said it can be quite "knock the stuffing out of you " but not always .I asked for a time line
She then floored me with the news she had attended a conference last week in Paris where the doctors had agreed the time might be that Myeloma is no longer the cause of death ,that they can control it and that I should have a good life if I continue to exercise and eat well .
We have just consumed a bottle of bubbly as it of course meant the same to my wife , she would have had to move to a more suitable house ,suffered widowhood ,which for her could have been hard and all the rest .
So I would like to thank AT for his gesture this morning as it worked . 💙💙💙

Fantastic news blue! Brilliant news to read and I can truly feel your positivity coming through your post.

I am very pleased you took something from my gesture this morning, actually humbled. It’s beautiful to feel a connection despite the geographical distance.
