Good morning all on this fine day .I hope all had a good night and have a great day today .I have been on YT watching Trump and his policies being laughed at ,one in particular was commenting on his trade war/ tariff equation -that does'nt equate .It was mostly way above my understanding of global trade though I did comprehend the main points .
The one point that I thought the most relevant was that it is not Trump but the house that decides the laws and the changes ,trade sanctions etc. Unless it is an emergency it then falls to the president to make the decision ,so he states that in all his policies that it is an emergency which gives him the power to do what he wants .

So cute. My uncle did his National Service in the Merchant Navy and brought me back a toy koala from a trip to Australia. I named him Wonk, (yes I have spelled that correctly, it was a series of Ladybird books). He became one of my most treasured possessions. I still have him, one of the few toys from my childhood that have survived. I found out a few years that he is made from real koala fur, I’m not sure how I feel about him now…
Oh my goodness. We fly home tomorrow night Aussie time via Doha. Qatar Airlines have paused all flights because of the Iranian attacks on US bases in Qatar. I may be extending my stay in Australia!

Mrs BR travelled by train with a number of other ladies to see Blood Brothers - RIP Bill - on Thursday. She was chatting to one lady who revealed that she is married to a Merseyside born Blue, who has Irish descent.
Needless to say they got on famously, comparing notes on trips to Goodison with their mad husbands
This lady and her husband have yet to visit BMD but no doubt that will happen soon.
I met them at the station and I also told her about 'The Emerald Evertonian' by Rob Sawyer (thanks @Joey66 ) and she will be ordering a copy for hubby straight away!!

Hi folks. We received a message this morning that anybody booked on Qatar Airways via Doha up to 6 March could claim a full refund
After 8 hours of trying to claim said refund via a truly awful website and numerous unanswered emails, calls, live chats and WhatsApps I finally managed it. We are now booked on a flight via Singapore and should be home on Friday. I could do without this!
