Nice to be going into the end of the season though without worrying about staying up.
Few chores to do today then a spot of sunbathing and a chill. Golf tomorrow morning at 7am at Garstang so really looking forward to that.

It’s strange for us to be stress free at this time of the season but very welcome. You lose sight of how brief a period our relegation threatened seasons have been- 3 years and that’s it. They have been so traumatic it feels like much longer.

Hello everybody. What a beautiful day it is. I planted some bedding plants today and then we took Charlotte and Frankie to a family fun day put on by the charity my friend and her family run. Set up 8n memory of her 8 year old grandson who died of neuroblastoma in 2018. It was at Darlington rugby club so we watched one of the charity matches, had a burger and a pint and all in all it was a nice couple of hours out.
I think Mr F and I are going to have a barbecue tomorrow- just me and him. Hope that won't put a jinx on the weather!

Went to the cricket ( we lost narrowly but all good fun ) saw we were 1-0 down and when I came home we had won 1-3 - happy days.
I'm not in the blue gloom and doom train but was genuinely surprised at the team selection but hey Moyes knows best!
Lovely glass or 3 of vino in the garden with Mrs J who had a brilliant day down the rescue getting 4 homes for dogs and now time to enjoy a Greek dinner of greek salad and gigantes.
