Tough times for you , you do so well. I received a call from my sister’s care home last week as she was very agitated and seeking out our sister who had died and could I speak with her . We had a lovely chat, but it’s so sad too.

Soon ! Takes a while to set. One thing was, I used only half the sugar that was in the recipe. I don't particularly like sweet honey. Made nearly three jars, not bad for half a bag of sugar, water and 304 dandelion heads - if it's not a culinary disaster !At let us know you’re alive and there hasn’t been a culinary disaster

Talking of getting tired. Workies in yesterday to drop the potting shed in the tropical garden so I can re model it and create a seating area.
So I was very busy yesterday taking the bits of shed down to the animals pen and burning it and then moving the path in the tropical and creating and planting 2 new beds. Moved a few flagstones but there are 4 3x2 that are ridiculously heavy .
Managed to get them out but way too heavy for me to move any distance so when the workies have finished repairing the fence that the goats have demolished I will ask them for a favour.
Good set of lads but they do insist on leaving the gates open which is a nightmare when you've got dogs.
To compound matters the window cleaners in today as well and Mrs J has sauntered off to the rescue shop - it is Tuesday after all !
So, dogs in separate bedrooms for today .

Morning all, took the train to Lowestoft yesterday. My friend and I used to go there to stay with her aunt during the summer holidays so happy memories. Like lots of places its glory days are behind it but it was good to see that money is being invested in doing up the sea front and a family bought the Claremont pier and are restoring it. We spent a lot of time in the Claremont playing Bingo. A glimpse into our rock and roll teenage years there. The lads calling the numbers had nothing to do with it. Here’s a few pics, including one of the Victorian postbox on the station because I’m a bit strange and like spotting old postboxes.
