Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Yes indeed, well the indecision was bugging me, and if I stayed there would have been double trouble so I went.
So the one day we don’t go to the fan zone cos I felt rough I missed big Dunc 🙁. Devastated tbh.
My sister bumped into Joe Royle outside the ground yesterday @Val P Ronnie Goodlass also.

Reid, Mountfield, Sheedy and Bracewell were all apparantly having a pint and chatting to fans in The Winslow.

Oh be still my beating heart, he’s my favourite ever player. How lucky is your sister, mind you if I met him I would be reduced to a gibbering wreck, probably best if I don’t.

He's one of my favourites too.
I still maintain that the late 60s team were even better than the brilliant mid 80s team. ;)
It certainly seemed that way to me, but that's perhaps because I had teenage eyes at the time.

Only a matter of weeks ago, did we imagine we would wake up fuming at only taking a point off Man Utd? Not the team of old of course but in this bent league it is still a valuable point. Full credit to Moyes for the turnaround and our much appreciated drop in stress levels.

I just had a walk close to home after the wind and rain passed and I really enjoyed. Peaceful as people are indoors readying themselves for the working week or digging into a Chinese and the last film of the weekend. I know it shouldn’t but the football going well really does have a calming and positive impact on my own mood, hence my zen like Sunday evening ramble on here 😗

Peaceful evening Mascoteers.

Joe Royle and me had one thing in common, we both played with our sleeves rolled up ! If I’d ever met him then I could have had my Yosser Hughes moment …. “ You play like me “ 🙂. A truly wonderful player in a great team.
