The humour is unbelievable isn’t it and it feels like most people except the reds were happy with the outcome. It was really amazing to be there, and I’m definitely warming to Moyes I must admit. See how we go on tomorrow- the squad is decimated so I hope it doesn’t stop our progress. I’m happy to be wrong about him if this carries on

I mean some of the things he's done and said since he's got back in would be hilarious if they weren't so scary. I honestly haven't been so worried about the state of the world as I have over the last couple of weeks. The man is a complete maniac and an utter tyrant.

Plus I hate the term "Everton that". But wouldn't it be just typical if the world embargoes the USA months after the club is bought out by Americans. :lol:

I think I still hate VVD more tough.

I've almost enjoyed the kopites heads falling off as much as the performance/ result

Trump is evidently a man baby who has now lost his faculties. It would be lovely if Europe acted as one bloc if he tries any tariff nonsense on us but I doubt they will.

Has there been a more overhyped PL player than VVD? Was very good granted but not the colossus he is made out to be.

A plain 1-0 win for us wouldn’t have brought such Kopite hand wringing and that is why the nature of the draw will be forever special. Their unparalleled sense of entitlement means they can’t accept that a feel good narrative doesn’t revolve around them and them alone.

This represents the perfect opportunity for the UK to rejoin the EU and for the European nations to say thanks but no thanks to Trump about US membership of NATO and fund it properly themselves.

But sadly the UK and Europe won't.

That EU re-entry isn’t even on the agenda for Starmer is disappointing. Out of curiosity jazzy, on your travels, do the locals ever discuss Brexit with you or have they all moved on now?

It's a very interesting question and yes I always like to speak with locals about how they view the UK.

Most are just sad that we left and can't understand why we did ...which pretty much sums up my feelings.

However I fear we will see a lurch to the extreme right in Europe which in turn will put a strain on the integrity of the EU

Someone pointed out VVD never takes the big CF he paases them over to the other guy ,even Pickford was more than he could handle !

I feel the same about Trump. Its frightening stuff. Did you hear him refer to Justin Trudeau as the Governor of Canada. That wasn't a slip of the tongue.
