Back in the 70s it was thick and sticky falling over juice (the night I was introduced to it, I found a mate of mine in the gutter in Moorfields) but it refined as Yates’ Wine Lodges became trendy.

Sadly, it’s got as rare as hens teeth. I had a decent supply but it ran out a few months ago, my daughter teases me that she has a couple of bottles stashed, my kids love it too. My son had it as the ‘toast’ at his wedding in 2016 (none of that champagne sh1t).
