Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Did some police work yesterday.. the roads didn’t have names but I found a near by airstrip marked. Used the road grid pattern and identified a potential house. I’m in contact with the Zim police who are planning to go today.. once I have transferred fuel and data money for them. Btw.. that is common. It’s not necessarily a pay off in some African countries.. the cops don’t have the resources to do their job.
Hope there’s a successful outcome.

Morning all, foggy here, that’s the weather as well as me lol. Long conversation with grandchild no3 last night who must be the only nine year old in the country who doesn’t know what she wants for Christmas. Last year her Mum, keen to make up for 2020 when we were in Tier 4 and unable to meet up with anyone went the whole hog including a visit from one of Santa’s elves on Christmas Eve morning. On being asked what she would like Santa to bring her Hannah announced an LOL surprise doll, aptly named as it came as a complete surprise to her parents. A mad dash to the shops ensued!
Have a good day, good luck with the shopping @blue1948, maybe the boss will let you buy some sweeties if you’re good. ;).
Have a good day, all.?

What is common to you sounds crazy to us.

Really hope your detective work pays off mate.

Not sure if anyone is mildly curious on my burglary update.. but there is one!
The Zim police went to the location I gave them today.. late afternoon they spoke to a few of the houses and after telling me they don’t think it’s any of them (the house I suspected was owned by a lecturer from a university), they decided somehow to try speaking to the guy again and after some “interrogation” he acknowledged he had the computer.. but then tried to give the cops the run around by saying he sold it .. only to admit he still had it after some further “questioning”.
So yep… iMac amazingly retrieved!!

Now for the rest of the stuff.. that was one of quite a few items!

Good morning mascoteers on this gloomy overcast day today here in Finland .
I got a new streaming box as my old one was showing it's age and had very little memory so a bright shiny new one for 49€ delivered .4 times the ram and 4 times the memory so it should be fun ,anyone ho knows these will know that is not the case as each one had it's own foibles -I just googled the spelling as it didn't look right and found that a foible is also the part of a sword from the middle to the tip ! -I love google .
I hope all had a good night and have a super day knowing that Germany are out ,could it be the stars are aligning for England? COYB

Morning all, grey and overcast here, hope to go train spotting this morning as there is an excursion coming through today hauled by a steam locomotive. Every day a school day @blue1948, I love these little gems of information you can pick up on Google especially the origins of phrases. Good news that Germany is out, loved that their manager is Herr Flick, that’s one for the Brits over a certain age. lol I’ve seen the new pictures of the ball crossing over the line and although brains better and more informed than mine say it didn’t I’m still not convinced.
@Terrarian hope that you are okay and the new meds are working.
Have a good day, all.?

Well done mate, that’s excellent. So is he now being treated as a suspect for the whole thing or did he maybe buy it?

Or rather are the police actually questioning him or have they let it go now you have the iMac?
