Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Just reading about the crowd troubles outside the ground at last nights game. Now we all know what the French police are like, we've been on the receiving end of their tactics once or twice ourselves during our rare European escapades. But I just can't help feeling that the Liverpool fans bring it upon themselves. literally 10s of thousands of ticketless fans would have travelled to Paris last night, and all of them would have genuinely believed they were entitled to get into the ground to watch the game. They always do it. I remember in Athens 2007 when thousands stormed the gates. One of my old clients was there with his wife and 2 young children and they found 4 thugs in their seats. When they asked them to move they were physically threatened. The two children were around 11/12 and were crying they were so scared. I mean these are their own fans ffs. I know my nephew (who is actually a season ticket holder) couldn't get a cup final ticket but he still went to Paris with one of these counterfeit tickets.

It does madden me slightly when I see everybody, the club, the media and even politicians, defending these fans when they should be trying to get to the root of the problem. This seemingly only ever happens when Liverpool are in the final, but not just that, it's every time Liverpool are in the final. There was seemingly no issues with the Real fans last night. It's time the RS media woke up and smelt the coffee. There's a common factor here guys.
Well said Fred. The Stade de France has hosted loads of high profile sporting events over the last few years, Euros, World Cup, Rugby World Cup, all sorts. Nothing has ever gone wrong until that lot show up. Klopp needs to take a long hard look at himself ( as do UEFA) for his comments telling fans to go to Paris even if they didn't have tickets because Paris is big enough. I'm still disgusted by the crassness and poor taste of holding a parade on the Heysel anniversary. Airbrushed out of their history.,

Morning all, cool and cloudy again today. No sun through the window to warm the house it’s getting rather chilly and I refuse to put the heating on at the end of May. Good luck with the bedroom re-arrangements @Terrarian, Mr G also shares his bedroom with an “old boiler”?. @Sassy Colombian hope everything is well with you and your family. Just going to potter around a bit today, Mr G. off to help his mate with the decorating again so I’m at a bit of a loose end. I have just volunteered myself to look after daughter’s two girls and son’s two dogs tomorrow, so a bit of peace and quiet today to brace myself for tomorrow. lol

Good morning everyone, start of a new week and no Everton, much less stressful lol

As anticipated I'm sore as hell today, feel like I've done leg day at the gym. I'm going to do my bedroom anyway, needs rearranging for when the new boiler and radiators come as for some reason the boiler is in my bedroom
It's a safety precaution T. In case it develops a fault and gives off carbon monoxide fumes during the night then its less likely to affect you.

Oh. Hang on.
