Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Still got the adrenaline flowing, not sure I’ll Kip tonight so just having another dead rabbit Irish whisky, see if that settles me!

Must admit I thought about messy and all of you at the final whistle, just so happy we did it tonight!

Feel like we will need 6 months to get over this season, me nerves won’t handle many more like this.

Love yas all bluenoses - arriba los caramellos

Cheers Sassy and hubby, we reap what we sow and you, I and the rest of the Mascoteers have been right behind the team all season so let's celebrate.
My cousin who has lived in Canada since he was about 4 called with about 20 minutes left, it was his birthday and he was about 20 seconds down on his stream and had to endure me and my youngest screaming as we scored our last two goals, what a great night.
He's a massive Evertonian BTW

Hahaha at least your cousin got to celebrate a win for his birthday. We deserved this harvest my friend. It was a tough season but we made it through together. Karl would have been proud of the effort we put in today. It is indeed a great night, we have survived!

You are a glass half full fanatic like myself, thank you for your positivity throughout the year on all fronts.

My youngest lad on Sunday with Myra, the dog of War and our lucky mascot.
In reality she is the most placid, beautiful dog you could meet.

We are fanatic twins ? ?

Tbh LT today after the ref didn’t call the red and we received the goal I wasn’t feeling very positive, it was Ange the one who remind me to stay hopeful. That’s the beauty about the friendship between all of us, we are here to lift each other’s spirits. Sometimes it will be me the one doing it, another day will be you or another blue mate. But after today Im feeling sure that Frank is the man for us and next season we will do better. We already hit rock bottom, now it is time to go upwards.

Pity there's not an official love emoji for your post ?
The rest of the family are now in bed, it's 0200hrs here and I'm partying on my own, it feels like we've actually won something.

I agree, I wish we had a ? emoji too. It does feel like a championship win because for a few minutes the thought of relegation seemed like a reality, but the team turned this game around like they hadn’t done with any other match this season. We all criticize our players, but overall this set of lads are good people and they really didn’t want to see Everton relegated, they showed courage and that they really care.

My lad of course, takes after his dad ?
Got to say though whilst I'm not an out and out doglover Myra is just the most placid, beautiful and adorable dog.
I have no doubts, very good genes in the family ? Some dogs are more placid than others that’s for sure. We adopted a rat terrier back when we were in our 20s, she had been at a household full of rottweilers and was abused by then so the little thing had the most annoying personality. Little dog syndrome, they are small but with big personalities and she was one of them. Left us for a boyfriend. True story. After years of living in Charlotte, a big city relatively to Asheville, we moved to the mountains and purchased 5 acres of land for the dogs to run around. At that point in our marriage we had two, a Siberian husky and the rat terrier. They both loved their new freedom and Maddie (the terrier) began making friends with the neighborhood dogs. One winter night she came in to the house through the cat door but not by herself, she had brought her new boyfriend and were doing the deed by the wood stove so loudly that it woke us up. The hubby was not very happy with this dog intruder (brownie was his name) and scared him away. After that night Maddie decided to take camp at her boyfriends house and left us. Our neighbors ended up adopting her and once I got pregnant with Sofi we sold the land and moved back to town with just one dog since Maddie had moved out lol
