He’s 24 soon, we’ve paid £20 million for him (and his injuries are one reason I wouldn’t have signed him). I think people can express an opinion on him.The lad had a shocking game v Spurs but he wasnt the only one and is not a winger. It's his 1st season and he's had a few injuries.
He is not one of the players we should be criticising imo.

For me, I don’t see how he’ll ever be good enough. Liability in possession, doesn’t appear to be a goal threat, doesn’t appear to have significant football intelligence. Just not sure how he fits.
He’s an athlete, capable of some good moments, but, like Ben Godfrey - ultimately that won’t be good enough.

Just to expand on the above, I’m just baffled at the transfer strategy last summer.
We being in technical but slow players like Grealish, Dibling and KDH, and then bring in raw physical types like Rohl and Barry (can’t even use his physicality) - I mean what kind of football did we have in mind? You can’t dominate the ball when half the team give it away, and you can’t out run or outmuscle a team when half your team can’t do that..
I don’t see what we are even trying to do.
What makes it worse is that the opposition don't even need to see what we are trying to do. They've worked out that we are an awful football team and they just have to turn up. Spurs fans had the most relaxing last game of the season ever. They could have played anyone in the league and they would have been itching to be the team that sent them down. But not us. Moyes still plays them like he plays any of the so-called big clubs. With complete fear and just hoping for a last minute winner.Just to expand on the above, I’m just baffled at the transfer strategy last summer.

Mad we could all see he was worth playing other than Moyes
As a reminder for the "Moyes watches them in training, he can never ever be wrong!!!" crowd.Didn't he say they were desperate to find a way to fit him into the team?
Which suggests that McNeill was undroppable for a time. Hilarious stuff
Still wondering what he’s meant to do for a team
So is he probably, seeing as he's been played in about 5 positions in 5 games.Still wondering what he’s meant to do for a team
