As good as he was against City it was a proper head down work hard performance. Used his pace well when he had the chance but his lack of ability on the ball and all round awareness is lacking.

Of course he can improve but I don't think it'll be to the level we want or need.

He was a CAM in almost all his games for Freiburg. Pressed high and shot from distance often. Definitely not a winger, agree that I’m currently dubious over him playing in central midfield. Would rather he play further up the pitch than KDH, but Moyes insists on playing both out of position exclusively

Appears he scored 3 goals in 3 years in Germany (which doesn’t surprise me), so if he was shooting from distance often, it certainly wasn’t working.

Just isn’t good enough technically or quick thinking enough for this league. I’d take the hit and let them buy him back.

I like Rohl honestly. Think there’s a player there. With more time this year I think he would’ve shone brighter.

I'm really surprised he played that high up the pitch. He's not creative or a real goal threat so I would hate for him to play in that role for us.

Not really good enough overall and still not sure what his position is. Wasted money really, maybe someone will give us some of it back when we inevitably pay it.
