Harsh to judge him on limited cameos.

Injured or ineffective so far.

As ive been saying, he didnt play more than half a season worth of league minutes and thats either due to ability or iniury - then cameos like this when returning from injury.

Hopefully he gets up to full fitness and remains that way so we can offload in the summer.

Not a standout for any wrong reasons. So that’s good. I like his burst of speed. He seems strong. Holds up fairly well. Give him consistent game time and there might just be something there.

…..difficult to assess at this stage, although he clearly has an engine like Arkle. Not even sure what his best position will be, he looks a versatile type.

At the moment I’d say he’s better out of possession than in possession but if he can redress that balance and improve his quality he could be a decent acquisition.

when ever he sprints down the left, we think its the second coming of Christ cuz McNeil is so slow by comparison.

….young, inexperienced footballer at a new club in a new league in a new country, it’ll take time before we see the best of him.

Big issue is for him to stay injury free, he looks the type who could get plenty of game time, even off the bench because he can help manage the final stages of games.

My German mate, who incidentally came through the Hamburg system with a certain Mr Janelt who now plays for Brentford, told me that Röhl would take a lot of adapting to the league and we shouldn't expect much at all from him this season.

Looked like the classic Fellaini role when we had no strikers but just a lot less effective.
