Looked alright when he came on, drove forwards with the ball a few times which I believe they refer to as "breaking the lines," it's something we don't really have in our centre midfield so if he can do it regularly he'd be a welcome addition to our team.

It was the manager who came out and said they're really impressed with him in training so far.

More mobile than I thought. Would like to see him get a start and a run in team, see how he plays.

….i thought he started ok last night, a couple of aerial flick ons on the edge of their box looked promising but then he was awful in possession. Put a simple pass out of play then continually gave the ball away. It wasn’t a good cameo.

At this point, adding in his time out with injury, he’s looking a poor signing but he’s one I’m not writing off just yet.

That’s exactly what I thought. He burst through, looked up, nobody ran with him, and he had to stop and pass backwards.

They were all blowing chunks and had given up at that stage, that's what ended it for me yesterday mate.

More mobile than I thought. Would like to see him get a start and a run in team, see how he plays.

That would be ideal for sure but we’ve signed a guy who’s a bit of a crock unfortunately and due to injuries he hasn’t had a chance to have a run.

We’re in they weird state of flux - when everyone’s fit we have a decent team and can go on a run, lose 3 or 4 players and the teams all over the place.

Time, patience and investment are the only things moving Everton forward.

Just back from injury, played out of his usual position and only got 20 minutes against the best side in the country at the moment.

The desperation to write a player off and to slate them at every opportunity is tiresome.

I think this is spot on. He looked rusty as hell and touch was off - but he looks like his physicality is there for the prem and can be moulded into a decent option. This is where I struggle with seeing Dibling, just looks likes he is miles off what’s needed physically.

Reminded me a lot of Soucek last night, terrifyingly .

Looked fine with the ball until it came to actually trying to pass it. Pressed fairly well though.

At this point none of us have seen enough to pass any judgement.
