To me this has the appearance of us needing to shed wages to sign. Delofeu sold = Depay bought, Delofeu loaned = Depay loan. This issue being no-one seems prepared to buy Del and Man Utd are not willing to loan Depay.

THT on Twitter will shortly be along to say something along the lines of "£35m spent on signings so far and still some blues losing their heads".

I have a theory about this that I will be expanding on soon in greater depth

Other than the fact that I had 20 quid on this, I won't be too bothered if he goes to France. He definitely has talent but if we're shipping out deulofeu I'd rather us bring in a winger who's less of a gamble and more guaranteed to deliver.

Kind of like Bolasie; sure people moaned about the fee but he was premier league proven and immediately slotted in and started making goals happen.

Huge shame to be missing out on Memphis. I don't get how we could be going from bidding £18m to suddenly withdrawing?

Hopefully it's because of other signings in the pipeline.

Maybe we were never really interested or maybe we still are interested?

I like esk a lot and his koeman shout won me a lot of dosh. But either his info on this is guesswork, from differing sources or just from bad sources, or the club's transfer strategy is worryingly spontaneous. I sincerely hope it's not the latter.

Player was interested in a move. Koeman previously and publicly said he was interested. Hopefully there is a better target lined up.
