HT 1-0 blues. Started great then turned a bit sloppy. Good goal.
Standouts: Coleman, Rodwell, Anichebe. Seamus is a lot more energetic than Hibbert and Neville and you can tell he loves getting forward and mingling in with our midfield. Jack just as cool on the ball as ever. Vic with some great touches/runs and has generally been a threat. Jags solid at the back and Gueye with some confident touches. Bily needs to get into the game more, as does Saha.
I can see Rodwell or Gueye making way for Cahill second half, then Saha for Beckford or Silva a little later on.

First 10 minutes or so were good and maybe last ten minutes. In between, they were struggling a bit. Coleman is great going forward (as long as he has someone who knows what he is doing) but seems a bit slow when turned in defence. Knows how to use his body though.
I've never seen Hibbert as much near the opposition penalty box as in this game, he's been in Pienaar's place half the time.
Defence has been OK, midfield so-so, most of the attackers have had good moments, Billy has had a nightmare - I lost count of the times he was dispossessed or gave the ball away.

Agreed about Bily. Had a couple of sloppy moments in the middle of the game and probably caused him to shy away a bit. Saha with a bit of decent holdup play without really doing much else. Missing that early peno was a bit naff as well.
Still, as I say, impressed with the young lads that half.
