Coleman is brazilian-esque the way he plays that right full role. Think of cafu, maicon or daniel alves constantly overlapping when there team is on the attack and that is exactly how seamus plays. He done it every time i seen him with blackpool at the back end of last season and looks like he gonna bring another level to our attack this season with his style. The better premier league sides might try and exploit it when coleman plays, but im sure moyes will have fella, heitinga or whoever is in the holding midfield role well drilled in covering for him when he goes on these forrays.

i think coleman should play in atleast half the games next season, he was the best player on the pitch again,

I'd combine your two ideas. Play Seamus in half of the games, but not against the likes of Chelsea, Man U. Unless Moyes reckons he can cope.

Just because Coleman has played a couple of good games for us and impressed in pre-season DOES NOT mean he' ready to play week in week out in the prem, he is very promising but we can't play him every week we need to just soothe him into the fold so that next season he will be ready to start games often

True, but it does give a big hint that he is.

Of course, but you won't know if he's ready unless you try. He was good enough against Spurs, and they're a CL team now apparently ;)

blackpool fans were drooling over coleman at the end of last season.
if you check out a few forums theres a few mentions that they couldnt beleive we loaned them such a good player.
reminded me of when osman went to derby.

him and rodwell are 2 players im realy feeling good and optimistic about.

To all the people saying Coleman was fantastic, not sure if i was just over tired, had been awake for 23 hours by the time the game started, but he didnt look that good to me. I was sitting in the second tier just to the right of the Everton goal in the first half and he looked decent going forward; but either didnt get back or got skined too often. Best on the pitch for me was Vic, he looked great.

Saha was very hit and miss, although I swear the linesman had it in for him and called him offside alot when he wasnt. Rodwell looked great too, he also seemed to get frustrated with some of the others as they really didnt look interested.

You could tell it was a preseason friendly as the pace was far below what the team will be at as soon as the season starts.

Beckford looked good for the time he had on the pitch.

As for the atmosphere it sucked, ive seen more excitement at a funeral. More than half the match it was deadly quiet, and what was with all the kopshites at the game, even saw an Arsenal fan???

Was great to see the lads down here, but the game was honestly pretty flat.
