Works both ways though. There are Everton fans who will ignore anything neutral or positive said about Everton as they're so fixed on listening for slights against Everton.

There were some Blues fuming on Twitter about Ally McCoist during the City game. His crime apparently was praising City's performance and seeming to enjoy anything that came close to entertaining football. Even though he sang the praises of several Everton players, Everton staff and the club all they could hear was his praise of City. It was hyper-delusional.
I do agree with that, but right now it’s probably the direct opposite. Whilst it was great to win, we were not miles better than Liverpool and recorded less than 30% possession. The press now have us as world beating certs for top four.

Interestingly enough, during the first half of the Derby commentary, it was so biassed towards Liverpool, I thought the commentators were about to break into you‘ll never walk alone.

I think another area that the commentators need to improve on is their understanding of the rules. They dont understand some fundamental rules. Even ex players are in that category. Hence, the commentator thought VAR was checking for no pen when in fact it was whether to award a red card.

We’re constantly told forwards should go down, or slight off sides shouldn’t be given (usually because it goes against the narrative). At least the pen discussion got cleared up pretty quickly and DCL hasn’t had any death threats.
Souness’s disgraceful comments after the last Derby should have seen him finished as a commentator.

Every single panelist on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday reckon it wasn't a penalty last week. That DCL kicked TAA in the head.
The same panelists have now all said Liverpool are going to finish above Everton this season.

Can't blame them so much for that, if it hadn't been for the fact that 15 minutes earlier they were all saying that they will struggle now to qualify for the Champions League due to their injury crisis.

One said Everton.
There all idiots tbh who know nothing about football

It doesn't matter. The saturday sky sports panel are obsolete. When merson is the premier panellist you know it's no longer a viable source for unbiased opinion.

They're all just upset that they all had liverpool to beat us and were once again proven wrong.

It doesn't matter that they didn't think it was a pen. The refs did. The only thing in football that matters is the score

There was a nice piece on football focus but be warned they interviewed gylfi. A lot of focus on ancelotti having a superb win ratio and saying with the new stadium deal we’re really on the up
