McFadden at Everton

Remember being at a game and there was a half time competition going on where a fan gets a chance to try and hit the bar from the half way line to win a car or something, anyway after a few miserable attempts by a few blues the bold McFadden(who was watching on the pitch as he was a sub) strolls up to the mark and wallops the ball right off the centre of the bar first time and then wanders back up the tunnel with a big grin on his coupon !! Think this was probably his greatest achievement in an Everton strip.

The thing that makes him seem even worse, is that he thought he was amazing.

Technique very good, however, not sure what it is with many players who go through the Scottish youth system these days. Can’t help believe had he signed for us or other premier league club in his early to mid teens it would be very different.

I thought he was probably one of the most infuriating players ever. You could guarantee if and when we were losing 1-0 or drawing , we'd
get a corner in the last minute and he wouldn't even reach the near goalpost every effin time, and if we got a corner on the right wing
Judas Arteta would take it with his right foot and 'curl' the ball out of play. I do realise it must be a difficult skill taking a corner, but they
played football for a living 4 hours a day 6 days a week.
