Player Valuation: £30m
( Source is the Mirror newspaper.) Apparantly, after being knocked back McLeish has gone to the chairman and begged for 5.5 million to buy James McFadden. If they do come back with an offer of 5.5m would you take it?

I would, he's a great player but its never going to work at our club for him.

I agree, he can put on some great performances but hes just not nearly consistent enough and that way he'll always just be an unreliable backup

I'd sell him for that, providing the money is then spent on a decent midfielder.

agree on that, otherwise keep him. He´s got the heart for us, that is worth a lot, and if he can be played as a winger instead like agains CFC, i´d keep him

Well I cant see him signing a new contract with us anyhow, so yes £5.5 million would represent a good profit on a player that has given us very little apart from the odd wonder goal.

He signed a new contract just about a year ago. Unless we see a bid of 7+ million, I do not think Moyes is going to part with him.

Sell... sell... sell.... his stock is only high because of his Scotland play. Nothing he has done at EFC makes it that high. Is he likely to get more playing time in this squad? He's a 5th option stricker here.

I wish Mac the best at a club where he can get in the top 11 regularly. Maybe he can prove many of us wrong about his inconsistency. But you can't over come inconsistnecy if you don't start regularly. It's not likely here. His stock could go down from here.

Sell... sell... sell....

Yes

Please can I offer my services as a taxi driver to Mr McFadden.
Goodison park to St Andrews, one way £120

[Poor language removed] it if he promises not to come back and we get 5.5m, just give me £20 for fuel and it's a deal

I would because theres your Piennar fee right there, i was concerned that if/when Fernandes signs. And a permenent option is taken up on both that would be our summer transfer budget blown!

Faddy for Pienaar, ill have that thank you very much with possibly a little left over to coverr the loss made on Beattie!

Sell him at seasons end. Certainly not right now with ACN etc.
I'd be happy for him to stay around though.
