Rennes have announced that they will officially respond to Everton's €10m bid for Stephane M'Bia on Monday. The Cameroon midfielder has his heart set on a move to Goodison but his manager, Pierre Dréossi, insists, however, that Rennes' position has not changed: "We remain determined to retain Stephane Mbia."

This apparently is the "definitive" decision.....

“Our position hasn’t changed,” Dreossi told the club’s official website. “We are still determined to keep Stephane Mbia.
“This decision, I repeat it, is firm and definitive.”

Everton target Stephane Mbia will not be allowed to join The Toffees according to Rennes general manager Pierre Dreossi.
The 22-year-old is desperate to secure a big-money move to Goodison Park in order to ‘feed his family’, and he even claims that Arsenal contacted him as well.
But his French employers are determined to keep him at Stade de la Route de Lorient, and have published an official response to the midfielder’s controversial declarations.
This statement is bad news for David Moyes, as Rennes previously showed they can keep players against their will when they rejected three bids from Paris Saint Germain for striker Jimmy Briand and refused to sell one of their key players this summer.
