You should be fine. I noticed this on the selling criteria:
Tickets will go on sale in the following order of priority:
STHs with 7+ credits from 16/17 season from Monday 5 December at 8am.
STHs with 5+ credits from 16/17 season from Wednesday 7 December at 8am.
*STHs with 3+ credits from 16/17 season from Friday 9 December at 8am.
*STHs with 0 credits from Monday 12 December at 8am.
*All tickets are subject to availability
So the * is only next to 3+ and 0 so I would assume that anyone with 5+ will be able to get one.

Earlier on in the season when using credits from last season, they just put the criteria high and dropped them down to say 7+, then said..."if tickets remain, there will be a further announcement". So that basically meant similar to the asterix in that there was a possibility for everyone at 7+ but after that they couldn't guarantee tickets would be available.
At least that's what I took it to mean.
