💳 Payment Method. Never pay via direct bank transfer. This offers zero buyer protection - once the money is sent, it cannot be reversed and your bank is unlikely to refund any losses. Always research your payment method before using it. PayPal, for example, offers meaningful buyer protection and is strongly recommended over a bank transfer.

🤝 Where possible, arrange to meet face to face - ideally at an Everton match - and exchange tickets in person.

Quick question regarding foreverton membership. I'm coming over for the Southampton game in January with my brother and was wondering if I can buy a second membership for him so I can get 2 decent seats together?

I've got Foreverton Membership this season and to get an unobstructed seats, you have to be on the website as soon as they go in sale. The problem is when they first go on sale, the website doesn't let you pick your seat, just the area of the ground. This means you often end up with obstructed seats no where near each other. The best shout might be to ring the box office. I got through pretty quickly when the Derby tickets went on sale.

I'd still be surprised if Southampton didn't sell out as it's a popular one for our Southern fanbase. Back in 2013 we played them on a Monday night so had the same issues as you mentioned there and we had 2,427 there according to Everton's official twitter. The fact this one is a weekend game makes it a bit easier than that night and our away support has actually picked up in recent seasons and tickets are only £20.

That's a fair point. As part of the southern contingent, I can vouch that there will be plenty there especially from ESCLA. My concern actually was more for those based in Merseyside, as you basically have to either fly, as one commenter pointed out to me, and spend Saturday there, take the coach home past midnight or take the train and have a half day off work on the Monday.

That Monday night game was bloody miserable as I recall. Wet, windy and a dour 0-0...

In fairness, Southampton have given us the biggest allocation we've received all season, despite having a smaller capacity than Sunderland, City and Chelsea. Sunderland went down to general sale as it was a Monday night televised game far away.

Southampton being moved for TV is brutally unfair on the majority of our fans, as it is now on a Sunday at 4:30, meaning that there is absolutely no way of making it back to Merseyside on public transport, meaning anyone going will have to come back via the motorway, getting home well past midnight with a week of work the next day. I'd be very impressed if we managed to sell it out, even with a strong southern / London contingent.

As for the wider aspect of credit hoarding vs getting on the ladder, if Southampton does go to all STHs or even general sale, it will be only the second away game that anyone with fewer than nine credits from last season will have been able to buy tickets to. I've been running a little spreadsheet (because I'm sad) on the away ticketing requirements, etc, this season, albeit I couldn't find our allocation for the WBA game:

The system remains pretty much a closed shop. In order to get Watford tickets when they first become available, fans will require 7 away credits from this season. The only people who could have obtained 7 away credits this season will be STHs who attended at least 13 games last season.

8 away games last season went on sale to STH with 0 credits, including ones that were easy to get to (Man City in the league) and at normal kick-off times. There were also four home cup games that gave an away credit. There have been and always will be opportunities to get on the credit ladder.

Watford is starting on 7 (and then dropping to 5) because we get a small allocation of 2,100. We got around 3,300 at Leicester last season - if we get the same again for Boxing Day then it should be another opportunity for people that don't have many away credits to get a ticket, as should Hull on the Friday night.

General Ticket Question - My Evertonian mate in work is 50 and as a surprise want to visit the Bournemouth game in Feb and want a total of 3 tickets. Bit confused by email from ticket office.

They sent me a link to FOReverton membership scheme, do you need to be a member to get tickets for a one off?

Thanks in advance
