To help protect yourself, please read the following guidance carefully before buying or selling:

💳 Payment Method. Never pay via direct bank transfer. This offers zero buyer protection - once the money is sent, it cannot be reversed and your bank is unlikely to refund any losses. Always research your payment method before using it. PayPal, for example, offers meaningful buyer protection and is strongly recommended over a bank transfer.

🤝 Where possible, arrange to meet face to face - ideally at an Everton match - and exchange tickets in person.

🔍 Check Their Posting History Use the thread's search function to see if the seller has posted tickets before. If other members appear to have bought from them previously, reach out via private conversation to verify their experience.

👤 Check Their Forum Profile Review the seller's forum history. Have they been a member for a long time, or did they register recently? Do other members speak positively of them? A long-standing, active member with good feedback is a much safer bet.

Match Ticket Thread - Spares/Requests - FACE VALUE OR LESS ONLY!

There is a lot of Leicester fans posting on here, pretending to be Evertonians/not disclosing they are Leicester fans. Some, prompted by Leicester forums to do just that.

To protect the integrity of the thread, I'm attempting to identify genuine Evertonians.

The others I named are definite Leicester fans. I can see they're in Leicester/have Leicester email addresses/their Twitter feeds...

Your account, I was unsure. But your IP (Your posting at the moment is Buckinghamshire), and a quick Google search showed someone of your name at an address in LE8...

As I say, I'm not certain - but hope you appreciate the reason for the suspicion and not offended. Consider also that you only registered on Sunday. We've been online for nearly 10 years.

Above all - Evertonians would be wise to consider any consequences to their ticket/customer number being reported/alerted as being abused.
Wow.

Pick the bones out of that..

I fully appreciate the reasons to be cautious, however I am currently posting at work, in a BS (Bristol) postcode area - obviously I cannot prove this, but I am 100% in Bristol & not Bucks. Could it be possible that my works server or IT provider are based in Bucks???

I have never ever lived in Leicester or an LE postcode area in my life - I have only ever lived at 4 different addresses - 2 in Surrey (GU postcodes) & 2 in Bristol area (BS postcode)

I also appreciate that I didn't join until Sunday, which doesn't look good, but I have never had the need previously to try & obtain tickets for a sold out match. I'm not gonna lie, a big part of my reason for wanting to go is because Leicester will more than likely win the title, and to witness such unique history & atmosphere would make for a great experience

Fair enough. Hopefully someone can pop along and help you out then mate. ;)

You haven't made a sufficient number of posts to allow anyone to message you. If I had a ticket to sell you I'd want to use a message rather than post my details openly on the forum; and I'd then ask to see a photo of your memorabilia with you in the picture! So my advice is to go off and contribute to a thread or two and then ask again when people can message you. Hope that helps and you might then get lucky.....

OK, thanks for the tip. Although playing devils advocate...how would you know the person in the photo with the memorabilia is me? ;)

Actually you may have by now....I dunno what the rules are - not sure I ever knew!

Hypothetically, I'd meet you at the ground to exchange and if the person I met wasn't the same person as in the photo, the ticket wouldn't leave my hand!

Do you honestly think it would be a problem? Surely football has moved a long way, I genuinely don't see it as an issue and we'd obviously keep quiet, I'm sure it won't be an issue anyway because we're never going to get tickets...

I reckon if you've spent your dough all year gaining the credits in order to qualify for a Leicester ticket then it should be yours to go and witness a very historical occasion.

If a Leicester fan wants to deny an Everton fan this and the Leicester fan hasn't been a lot this season then I think they should pay accordingly.

I don't think Everton should have donated the allocation back to Leicester as some have suggested.

I don't know the full history of Leicester fans woes though, I have read a bit about gold and silver members not getting tickets but don't know how many these members have been to this season.

Chin up fellow Blues - next year it'll be Street End tickets for our final home game that'll be on offer at £15K a pop*.. (not on here of course).

*Assuming we get a decent manager, keep our better players and bring 3-4 good 'uns in.

Ok I'll try to answer this. Yes I am a Gold member, and as such there were always enough tickets. Capacity is 32500, we have 23000 ST holders, some go to corporate, but there should always be enough left to reach the members, gold are capped at 3000, so plenty to reach me, and they have all season, we've been to every home game so far. I don't know where the extras have gone for the Everton game, I just know they haven't reached all the gold members for the first time, and so we can't go. I realise this isn't your problem, and I never asked an Evertonian to give a ticket up for me if they want to go, just that if someone has a couple spare to please consider selling it on to another fan who wants to see us hopefully do this, we won't get another chance :-)

Have people had a response as to where the tickets have gone from the club ?

I'd guess that there will be quite a number of spares available on the day in the Everton end.

Our terrible form, lack of interest due to manager and a few quid bung will certainly see spares.

We've actually got what could be a major role in Leicester, Norwich and Sunderland season with what could be an uninterested team and crowd.
