Firstly, how easy is it to upgrade the child ticket to an adult for just one game? Secondly, is it actually worth it? A friend reckons they don't bother checking anyway so may as well just bring someone else and take them in on the kids ticket.

Dead easy - just go the ticket office before the game and they will charge you the difference,
I got in once using a nippers ticket - but felt [Poor language removed] all match and wondered why i'd ripped the club off when they heavily discounted the kids tickets in the first place? So ever since then i've dutifully upgraded the ticket and enjoyed the match more when I did!
