Match Ticket Thread - Spares/Requests - FACE VALUE OR LESS ONLY!

Just managed to get a ticket for the Sunderland game on the resale.

£75 Upper East. Need another for my lad, add in parking, scran, a couple of pints pre-match and a beer in the ground and there's no change out of £200 for a few hours out. I shudder to think what I've spent supporting Everton this season but should get a ST this time or next. Hopefully the fact so many STH's have been unable to shift their tickets for the less desirable games might mean there's a lot that won't renew.

What a joke system though, expecting people to spend half their life on a website for some to trickle down, while at the same time the club are touting them to the highest bidder and you have ale houses putting together dodgy packages with tickets included for well over the odds. How do these gaffs get hold of tickets for a pub full of people with no memberships? People boxed off in the ticket office would be my guess.

My guess would be that they deliberately make it much easier to give up and pay premium - so that more people do that.
