Question on family stand tickets:

For the Man City game there’s a ton in resale for this stand, with family stand popup blurb when you select one.

But there are loads of singles in that stand, so it is possible for an adult member to just buy one for personal use, or not?

Does anyone have a definitive answer, the website isn’t clear and it would be a pain to buy one and get pinged by some jobsworth on the night.

My question would be why you'd want to? There's lots scattered all over the ground.

I can't imagine you'd have any bother unless you drew attention to yourself by swearing etc

No problems there. If they sell you a single adult ticket (which they will) then you can use it.
