💳 Payment Method. Never pay via direct bank transfer. This offers zero buyer protection - once the money is sent, it cannot be reversed and your bank is unlikely to refund any losses. Always research your payment method before using it. PayPal, for example, offers meaningful buyer protection and is strongly recommended over a bank transfer.

🤝 Where possible, arrange to meet face to face - ideally at an Everton match - and exchange tickets in person.

👤 Check Their Forum Profile Review the seller's forum history. Have they been a member for a long time, or did they register recently? Do other members speak positively of them? A long-standing, active member with good feedback is a much safer bet.

Match Ticket Thread - Spares/Requests - FACE VALUE OR LESS ONLY!

Hey guys!

Grew up in South Africa, and now just moved to Germany. Been a toffee for 20 years. Never been to a game always dreamt of it but now I feel the pressure is on and I HAVE to or else il regret it for the rest of my life.

No idea how tickets work. If they work similar to bundesliga it's almost impossible to get it on general sale.

If anyone has spare 1 or 2 tickets to any of the last 5 home games I would be really thankful! Happy to pay what the worth!

Alternatively if there is a site that anyone can recommend that is a good second place market please let me know. The prices are sometime horrendous. But oh well not much I can do about it.
managed to get a ticket to Arsenal game through sportsbreaks

worth looking here from time to time for those that are desperate and still want to use an official platform, it seems like people cancel from time to time

It SHOULD be easier, just because of numbers.

So it was pretty simple for me to get to all games before United on the general membership sale (apart from Liverpool), and I'm in the same queue and system as everyone else, but these last two sales have been mad. I don't think the numbers are majorly higher, just enough to cause this. Adding a few thousand tickets on should make it all a bit easier.
Same here, managed to get tickets for every game apart from the Derby and then these last x2 against United and West Ham.

Wondering if demand has actually increased given that we’re actually playing better and winning?

People with memberships but not going the games are now more inclined to go the game and watch actual football?

Just a thought. Until the end of the season, apart from season ticket holders, all those who weren't able to buy a ticket to the previous home match should be given priority in any queue. The People's Club need to live up to its reputation name and share the last few matches with as many fans as possible. It's a logical idea but unlikely to happen as they just want to sell the tickets.
Highly doubt it. Sent the following points to the club earlier in the season when they introduced the 15+ home credit cut-off but was only just greeted with a lazy blanket response.

I mean fair play to the people who bought a ticket to watch us play 15 times - but the big caveat here with the new home credit system is league games bought via official membership sale/resale (so £55) only i.e. 4 home cup games are totally disregarded along with league tickets via the Official ticket transfer portal.

People like me who have 13 or 14 league credits and went to all 4 midweek cup games are now deemed not 'loyal' enough (took this straight from their news release on Sunday and I'm very annoyed by this) to be in the 1st tier of membership sale, whilst in theory another supporter who only went to 15 league games will be ahead of us.
Agreed but what pisses me off the most is not the criteria itself but the actual lazy 'loyal' narrative used by the club if that makes sense?

Whilst I'm at it they also have the means to come up with a 'fairer' cut-off point (e.g. count cup games as half a credit each and trace to the email address a league ticket was officially transferred to) but just went 'Nah, just the ones who paid £55 15 times is fine'

it had always been around 9.15 so ddint get online till lkek 5 past, in which the queue had started

says its randomly generated anyway

im nowhere near getting in as it stands so imagine it wil be gone

horrible to think i may have already had my last visit to goodison, and had that head steward in the gwladys barkin at me to go home so he can get his gammon and eggs for dinner
As others have said, I just don’t see how it’s rewarding in any way for those who queue up every time but don’t have luck on their side with the random draw (I’m sceptical anyway as to how ‘random’ it is)

I suppose I've the same sob story as everyone else who tried the queue this morning. Just gutted by all of this. I'm heading over with my son for West Ham. Trip booked months ago.

Now I'm not really sure what to do. Might just pray for a resale single for myself and send him down the road to Etihad with his mother that day so they can at least catch a match somewhere. Imagine treble winners being a consolation prize...now I'm having nightmares of watching my son grow up a City fan.

Its definitely random to an extent - its the same system used for Ticketmaster's gigs (and also Glastonbury now!). Though having looked into it as best I can for Glastonbury, there may be technical factors at play that flag people as less likely to be bots, but nobody really knows what they are. It doesn't sound like there's a way to "beat" the queue though

it definitely has, i got to a good few games earlier in the season on resale which is season ticket holders selling their ticket. this is up to and including the spurs game

following that there's been nothing

That ship has sailed for City ,Everton is the place to be.
I have got most of my tickets off the resale platform this season but even that is becoming impossible.
The only thing I would say is keep looking and take one when it comes up where ever it is.
I don't know how old your son is but you may have to take tickets in different stands

Nah. I'm not sending him off to sit by himself somewheres. Just checked I can get hospitality at the Etihad for what it'll cost to sit behind a post at Goodison. That's wild.

Affiliated fan groups waved in the two tier membership system for this season. Unfortunately fell into tier two from last season history, consolation was season tickets for BM. Without car until 17th March so have not tried since FA cup match.

Maybe, but there's no known way to get past that queue any quicker, so its probably just people.

from google - Yes, bots can generally get into ticket queues better than humans because they can refresh pages and complete actions much faster, essentially allowing them to "jump ahead" in the virtual queue and secure tickets almost instantly when they go on sale, especially for high-demand events where tickets sell out quickly; this is why many ticketing platforms are actively working to detect and block bot activity.

Key points about bots and ticket queues:
  • Speed advantage:
Bots can perform actions at lightning speed, bypassing the limitations of human reaction time when trying to purchase tickets.

  • Automated actions:
They can automatically refresh pages, fill out forms, and complete checkout processes much faster than a human user.

  • Scalping concern:
This ability to quickly buy large quantities of tickets with bots is often used by scalpers to resell tickets at inflated prices.
