Suppose this is kind of related to this (please move if not) - does anyone know of any cheap hotels/B&B's in the city? I'm travelling up for the derby but the hotel prices are mad for that weekend!:(

Ever thought of looking for one on the Wirral? Just get one near the Wirral Line rail stations and get off at Kirkdale. Maybe New Brighton perhaps.

The Leigh arms does b&b now. 2 minutes from goodison, 5 minutes in a taxi to town. Pm me if u want more details, I can put u directly in touch with the couple who run it.
