To help protect yourself, please read the following guidance carefully before buying or selling:

💳 Payment Method. Never pay via direct bank transfer. This offers zero buyer protection - once the money is sent, it cannot be reversed and your bank is unlikely to refund any losses. Always research your payment method before using it. PayPal, for example, offers meaningful buyer protection and is strongly recommended over a bank transfer.

🤝 Where possible, arrange to meet face to face - ideally at an Everton match - and exchange tickets in person.

🔍 Check Their Posting History Use the thread's search function to see if the seller has posted tickets before. If other members appear to have bought from them previously, reach out via private conversation to verify their experience.

👤 Check Their Forum Profile Review the seller's forum history. Have they been a member for a long time, or did they register recently? Do other members speak positively of them? A long-standing, active member with good feedback is a much safer bet.

Match Ticket Thread - Spares/Requests - FACE VALUE OR LESS ONLY!

I'm a season ticketholder but every time I look on the resale site to see if I can buy an extra ticket, it says something like "this is not available to you". Do you know if you need a different membership, over and above being a ST holder, to see what's available on the resale site?

I honestly don’t know, Neil.

I know tickets go on sale to members….then on general sale if there are any left.

But I have never seen an option fot an ST holder to buy an extra ticket.

This whole buying of tickets has got me curious and annoyed in equal measure

Despite there still being "loads" of tickets listed as available it doesn't seem you can actually buy any as when you try to select one it just comes up with "No Seats Are Available"

Assuming its not just me I suspect there is still some cutoff day/time but when I had previously spoken to the ticket office a few weeks ago they said you could buy up to 3 hours before kick off .. seems they were wrong or they changed it again.

Got 2 for today top balcony. One adult and one personal assistant. £50 for both. My disabled son cant go today. Obviously need to be quick. Cut off point 12.30pm need to collect Wirral.

Last season when I was buying extra tickets it wouldn’t allow me to buy tickets on match day. Must be something to do with being able to facilitate them but just shows you how in the dark ages we are from even a ticketing infrastructure perspective.

I was going to sell one of ours for tomorrow so listed it but it never even appeared for others to see despite receiving an email Ticket Resale Listing Notification email. Not sure how its meant to sell if no on can see it?

In the end I've cancelled it and gave it to someone I know will use it.

I could list half a dozen things wrong with the new ticketing system but no one at Everton would listen so whats the point.

The club is a failure on almost every level now!
I regret complaining about stub hub, new system is like club in general, a joke. Stub hub had it flaws but it was easy for both seller and buyer. Allowed fans to sell tickets, get a bit of money back, buyer got a good deal. Now people aren't getting their tickets sold, plus fans are being ripped off.

The resale debacle might actually solve an underlying problem of people buying ST's knowing they can sell every match except the big games, whilst people who actually want to attend every home game sit on a waiting list when they're effectively financing the ST's of those selling on the resale site.
