You are no longer allowed to bring in replacements after your first group game starts. We get to roll with 22 now, maybe possibly 21.

Looking pretty dumb bringing Julian Green now, if you ask me.

We're going to miss Landon now. I seriously doubt that Green is ready and we're going to need someone who can make a pass in the center of the pitch if Bradley can't get sorted.

Agree with the Green statement. Think Klinnsman had to give him the spot to get him to commit to the US and JK hoped no forwards would get injured

I think he had already played for the US so Green was already in. I just think its something that goes back to the Bayern time that Klinnsman blames Landon for (which was 99% the fault of Klinsmann for the way he was played there). Also Landon coming back and playing well for Everton may have made him look bad or something as well.

Yeah I can see what you're saying but I think JK told Green he had a spot for him before he even played in that Mexico match to get him to file the switch. Agree though that you could tell Klinnsman and Landon never had a good relationship especially after LD's self imposed sabbatical

Without a target forward and with Bradley being garbage today, this team made me a liar in the preview, because we played park and counter the entire time. Some of it was due to the early lead, but Ghana also owned the midfield.

I don't know what you do at this point if the Altidore injury is serious. If Bradley is back on, it's maybe possible to command the midfield against Portugal, but it's outright impossible to do so against Germany.

If we get a draw vs Portugal we're basically through provided we don't lose by 3 or so to germany. If Altidore isn't healthy again for the Germany match we could just park the bus Mourihno style to advance on GD

Nah well in USA.

I'm very much a believer if as long as you win who cares.

You might have been dry humped for most of that game but they never penetrated much.

A wins a win. I'd have been made up if England had won like that.

Judging by how he went down, I don't think Altidore is going to play for the rest of the world cup. As long as Ghana loses to Germany I think the odds of us getting through are around 50/50 now. Portugal isn't going to play that bad again.
